These rooting needles are manufactured and distributed only in Germany. This is a set of 10 42 guage needles, each having 3 barbs and are 3 inches in length. The higher the guage, the thinner the needle, therefore poking a smaller hole. The more barbs, the more hair you will root at each poke through the vinyl head.
A common complaint about rooting needles is that they break easily, no matter how experienced an artist may be. From what we are told, the point on these needles will dull long before these will break. They are easy to use, and have been critiqued over and over again, only receiving the most positive of reviews.
