The design allows you to see where you are rooting each hair. This low profile rooting tool was designed for all needle sizes including coated needles. It is our suggestion that you do cut the needles and we sell the specific industrial strength cutters made to cut thru rooting or felting needles. This is important to know because these needles cannot be cut with conventional tools. The Irresistables Rooting Tool can be used with any size felting or rooting needle and you can choose the needle size you need whether rooting fine hair or even human hair. The tool has a rubber cushion (sleeve) for your fingers while you are rooting and has a marker for those rooters who micro root. The marker can be adjusted so that it will mark where you left off each time you need to change the needle. The design has a self centering chuck to hold the needles securely. To effectively use Irresistables low profile rooting tool for doll mohair, follow these steps:

1. Secure the doll's head to prevent movement during rooting.
2. Insert the rooting tool into the mohair and pull small sections through the doll's scalp.
3. Work in small, even rows or sections to achieve a natural look and will avoid clumping.
4. Trim and style the mohair as desired once rooting is complete.
5. Glue the mohair from the inside of the head to prevent it from being pulled out. 

 

We we will NOT take back or replace any vinyl parts that have become defective due to exposure to heat in an oven. Any bubbles or melting which can be the outcome if too much heat is applied is not the fault of the dealer or the manufacturer. No exchanges or refunds will be given for this reason. If you decide to heat your vinyl you must do so at YOUR OWN RISK.
