IRHSP Ultra-Gloss is unlike other gloss varnishes because it has a thicker consistency and once applied, does not need to be pounced. If applied properly, it should not show brush lines. IRHSP Ultra-Gloss is great for lips, nails, inside the nostrils, eyes - anywhere you are looking for an EXTRA shiny touch of clear gloss on your dolls. Not recommended for between the eyes on the bridge of the nose because it is very shiny. In this area IRHSP recommends using IRHSP Dewy Skin or IRHSP Satin Varnish.
To achieve a high-shine finish on doll lips or other desired areas using ultra gloss varnish, follow these suggestions:
- Ensure the doll's lips are clean and free of dust before application.
- Apply the varnish in even layers brushing down to avoid drips and unevenness.
- It is unnecessary to pounce the surface if you are looking for a very glossy appearance
- Use a fine brush or applicator for precise application on small areas and to make sure you get in all of the crevices.
- You will most likely not need more than one layer but if you want you can repeat the application and heat set letting it cool completely before handling.
- Allow the vinyl to dry and cool completely before applying additional layers for depth.
**Please keep in mind that this is a thicker product and will remain on your brush if you don’t clean it. We suggest using alcohol on a cosmetic round or even a Chlorox Wipe to clean your brush and any surface that the product touched.
Instructions for use:
Apply Ultra-Gloss with a brush smoothing it evenly over the surface where you want extra shine. Bake at 265f or 130c. Allow the vinyl to cool completely before handling or adding more layers.
